Dr. Carla Kamendy BSc. (HKin), D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Carla has been in family practice in Toronto for over 9 years. Carla treats patients with a variety of conditions, in all stages of life, with an integrative approach to care. Her goal in treatment is to eliminate pain and injury and encourage proper function throughout the body. She accomplishes this with an integrated wellness program that uses a variety of techniques designed to meet her patients’ specific healthcare needs.
I treat every patient’s injury/complaint as a different puzzle to solve, and individualize their treatment plan for what their body needs to heal. No two injuries are ever the same, as no two bodies’ needs are ever the same.
Carla completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course at McMaster University in 2007 and practices neurofunctional acupuncture to encourage her patients’ bodies to heal quickly and functionally. She has also completed the Functional Range Release in Upper Limb and Functional Range Conditioning courses to better improve her patients’ body function. After recently becoming a mother, Carla is working to develop her pediatric and pre and post-natal treatment proficiency in courses on manipulation and Webster technique.
Carla graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2003 and then from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2007. She is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
