Andrea Lugowski Aeberhardt
Andrea Lugowski Aeberhardt B.A., BSc. (Hons.) Ost., D.O. (UK)
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Andrea is an osteopathic practitioner who has a special interest in treating paediatric and obstetric patients as well as chronic conditions in adults and children, including environmental medicine cases and rare clinical presentations.
With an emphasis on treating babies and children, Andrea has attended multiple post-graduate level courses in the U.S. to refine her palpation and be able to understand better the potential issues of infancy and childhood.
I am continuously intrigued by the science of embryology, human development and the forces that create life, aiming to work with this potential in each patient.
Andrea first went to the University of Toronto and Dalhousie where she earned a Bachelor Degree before attending the European School of Osteopathy in Kent, UK. There she completed the very demanding 4 year full time course to become a registered osteopathic practitioner. At school Andrea was very passionate and involved, having come to osteopathy from the perspective of a patient, which she was for years before deciding to become an osteopathic practitioner herself.
Andrea has been in practice for over a decade and worked in physician’s clinics, paediatric clinics and now is in private practice both as an individual practitioner and at Bayview Natural Health Clinic where she truly enjoys working with the exceptional practitioners there.
Andrea is a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council in the UK.
